All,
I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the opportunity to serve our district and to share a few recognitions I’ve recently received. These awards reflect not my individual efforts, but the collective work of so many who care deeply about building a stronger, healthier, and more balanced state. I’m humbled by these acknowledgments and even more motivated to continue approaching our challenges with reason and collaboration.
This year, I was honored to receive recognition from several organizations whose missions align closely with our community’s priorities:
Colorado Hospital Association Legislative Award, PrimeHealth+ Legislative Award, Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials Award, Healthier Colorado Early Childhood Champion, the Behavioral Health Champion Award, and CAMES Legislator of the Year Award - for practical, bipartisan work to strengthen our health care system and support Colorado’s medical professionals.

CU Legislator of the Year- for advancing policies that strengthen higher education, and workforce development.

Colorado Civil Justice League’s “Common Sense in the Courtroom” Award- for applying a fair, balanced approach to policy that prioritizes logic and practicality over emotions.
Going Forward
I try to approach every issue — whether it involves health care, behavioral health, or land use — in a logical and deliberate way. Emotion and urgency often shape our debates, but lasting solutions come from reason, partnership, and respect for differing perspectives.
Thank you for your continued trust, support, and engagement. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent this community, please don’t hesitate to reach out with your ideas or concerns.
